When I am out and about on the scoot , I strap it like normal and hang it on my throttle grip .
At home our helmets are right by the front door for easy access .

If I can see my bike, Its hanging on the throttle. If I can't its on the helmet lock. At home its kept in my closet.

Well my helmet goes with me wherever I go when out and about at home it is on top of my Dresser. The wife is a different story she stores hers on the back of her bike when at home and carries it when she is out and about.

If I'm doing a real quick stop, I might not even take it off cuz I have the front flip up type. If I take it off and it'll be in sight, then I'll place in on the passenger backrest. Otherwise it goes with me or in the closet at home.

On my head when I'm riding, on my bookshelf at home, atop my cube at work. I don't have a helmet hook on my bike and I don't like leaving it just hanging on the bike if I can't see it...so I usually just carry it with me.
