I've had to learn how to do all the work on my bike. The only thing I can't do is sync my carbs as I don't have a manometer. The honda dealer here at first refused to work on my bike, but I got them to do a carb sync for me.

Seems like if your bike is older than 10 years, there aren't many shops that will take on your bike.

I use to take my stuff into the shop for most of everything until I finally decided to save money and get off my lazy butt and start learning to do things myself. The only thing I bring my bike in now is for major stuff related to the engine or the fuel injection. Other than that I do everything myself or I try to find contacts to help me with repairs Im not familiar with.
