If I was on my R1, I wouldn't have stopped.

If you're going fast enough and throw ball bearings big enough you probably won't get chased. Atleast not by that cop.

Bear with me, this is a newbie question. Speaking of etiquette: What is the proper way to recognize/acknowledge another bike on the road? Thanks.

Wave if you feel safe taking a hand off the bar. So as a newbie, don't do it in the middle of a turn... like me.

I love suprising other bikers by throwsing a wave up mid lean. You can tell by the way their head moves that they have a "wtf!?" expression on their face.

Thanks! Didn't want to offend my new brothers and sisters once I get on the road. MSF class scheduled for October. Can't wait to get out there and cruise when and where I want!

Just don't be offended if some don't wave back. :(
Some people have issues, but they're not mine so I don't worry. :D

No problem, CYN. I have a Jeep Wrangler (I know, a cage, a sin on this site, but I do live in Michigan-snow, ice! At least it's a cool cage!!), and it is tradition to acknowledge another Wrangler, however, some just don't get it! You're right, some are just too wrapped up in their own little world I guess.
