It was a hoot for awhile until I went down into the "basement", aka Jo Momma. There's a lot of sick, disturbed people who frequent that forum and post nothing but crap behind the anonymity of their computer screens.

I'm also on the Ural Web Board and a few other Ural/Dnepr related forums as well. I was on totalmotorcycle, but managed to get banned there while trying to prove a point... haven't been back since. Too many internet tough guys and poseurs on there, anyway.
What do you expect from ADV? They all ride BMW's with as much money into their bikes as I spend on rent in a year. I'm on ADV but never post, really just look at the pictures. They have a boring off topic section. It's basically you say something, rider care in your cereal, and 534 people go "omg ur so cool rider". Other than that, it's a good resource for those interested in touring/ds'ing. I'll just be sticking to TMW though.

Oh, yes you do - I distinctly remember telling you to ""fudge" off" in one of the JM threads. Can't remember which one, but IIRC it had something to do with badmouthing Canada.

As for the BMW riders, they do seem to be in the majority there, but there's also lots of KLR, KTM and Ducati owners, too. And a few Harley owners but, naturally, there's a lot of HD bashing going on that keeps their numbers to a minimum.

BTW, it was that overinflated ego called Rider that I had an issue with and was banned by.

TMW (Mike does good work)

Monkey Riders (Lots of riders from all over the country, and a few other countries)

Motorcycle USA (very rarely visit)

Beginnerbikers.org (Has a hidden forum just for MSF instructors which is much better than teh worthless MSF listserv)

Strom Trooper (Gives me ideas)

adv (I ride with the east coast guys from time to time)

yamaha triple community (gotta keep the XS 850 in tip top shape)

sidecar.com (speaks for itself)

msgroup.org (more for laughs sake than anything else)

dcsportbikes.net (not a big .com fan)

Oh and Canadianridersareatotalfailboat.eh?

lol, on one of my forays back there i decided to find what you were up to there so i could tell YOU to "fudge" off and found that thread. About the time I actually stopped going back. And it was stupid canadian truck drivers I was badmouthing that either didn't know we use mph and not kph, or how to take his head out of his "O Ring". Either way, he was from quebec, so I should have been a bit more specific.

Oh, since I never got to tell you this there, "fudge" off

EDIT: Okay, I have more posts there than I thought (a whopping 140), but the attitude there really turns me away from them. Which is a shame, a lot of them seem like genuinly nice people with a lot of insight and usefull information to offer. When I eventually get a KLR, I'll probably start posting there again. Until then, what's the point? TMW offers everything I really need now.

But I still don't understand the reference - "Canadian riders are a total failboat". I can't keep up with you kids and all your wacky lingo. :?
