See if the windshield is adjustable. The one on my Vulcan 800 is. If your saddle bags are like mine, they hold a gallon of milk and that's it. I did get a tail bag that I can fit a good deal more into.

Happy trails, hope the hubby's bike gets running soon so you both can get out together.

Thanks for the suggestion about the windshield. Never even though of that.
Husbands bike is in the shop, we'll see what they say. We normally do simple repairs ourselves, but neither one of us really had any idea where to start on this one.

first, great blog so far. i've enjoyed the read.

and it made me think of this.
somewhere on here i learned about this book and the follow up "more proficient motorcycling." if you're a reader and like to learn and be safe (all of these seem to sum you up so far) i think you'll enjoy this book. i still refer back to things i've learned from it. will probably give it another read sometime soon.
