Thank you. I am a professional photographer. The gal who made this image was a student of mine for a while. Yet, she comes up with some terrific ideas.
This was one of them.

Have you tried a kidney belt, similar to weight lifting belt as a temporary fix.
I know many people riding Sportsbikes using them.

I have a Mustang back rest. Love it. Before that, I had a aftermarket one and that was fantastic also. I am 70 years old and have a pinched nerve between L4 and L5.
I ride 400 miles a day without pain.
yep

I always look at them as a waste. When I ride I either am going a shotr distance or have enough stuff to tye on as to use as a backrest. Kinda like the bag in above post by MZ33 except I still use a GI duffel. I've been eyeballing those for years but my old stuff still works and I have more of it than I have storage.

For those that have a drivers backrest, does your back feel less stressed or painful as well as can you go on longer rides? (Assuming your not riding with a passenger)
Dan

I ride a Victory Vision now after years of Harleys and i put a Utopia Backrest on. Best thing is i can adjust while riding, most miles in a day was a month ago on the way back from South Dakota, 1163....love my backrest.
