I hate stories like this. I hope you are going to write the owner that you are taking the matter up with the B.A.R. and the BBB

Thanks, folks...I really don't like to bytch about stuff, sounds like I'm a whiner. These people at the dealership don't care if I ever come back, I'm not an "easy money" customer and they only did one other service for me, back in '06. They have no incentive to go back and right their wrongs. I also know that lots of mechanics hate to work on the Concours because of all the fairing removal.
Maybe a letter to Kawasaki would be the best bet. I don't want to stir up the pot but I'm a paying customer too! And this bike isn't a recreational vehicle, it's my daily transportation, grocery-getter, and mental-sanity-keeper all at once.
I can't believe a mechanic put in so much excess oil. That's just nuts.

A letter to Kawasaki is not stirring up the pot......it's a step to writing a wrong, but more importantly, it lets kawasaki know there are problems with dealers they may want to track......
suppose they had other complaints but they were waiting for just one more.....
It's worth a piece of paper, an envelope and a stamp.

I'd be pissed too.
Unfortunately, techs/mechs and shops don't often give a "poo poo" to do warranty work correctly. The shop makes no money so all they care about is getting 'the job' done asap. (I worked at a car dealership, you'd be amazed the things you learn about people you should trust).
As said, write that letter, send it up to Corporate. See what their reply is, then go from there. You may very well have the last laugh.
