Don't sweat it. You're perfectly normal :).

You know the saying, "there are 2 kinds of bikers, those who have dropped their bike and those who haven't yet." Just think of it as getting it out if the way early ;).

I have dropped mine twice. The first time I was doing a low speed turn at a gas station and dropped it. Burned my leg on the exhaust while trying to keep it up, too. That sucked! :frusty:

It's not unusual for anyone to drop a bike....most of the time it's the pride that gets hurt the most....   I had the wind yank the bars right out my hands (caught the faring) down I went right in front of about 20 other bikers, boy was I embarrassed.....  put my helmet on the ground so I could lift the bike up and the wind blew that away too. FYI I have been riding for forty plus years, so it can happen to anyone (new or longtime rider doesn't make a difference), any place, for any reason.
PS glad you did not get hurt. :D

Yes it is.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Welcome to the club. :righton:

I didn't drop my first bike, but I've dropped my 2nd one 3 times. Sigh.

Hiya Cowboy

Dropping the bike? It's a kind of an initiation rite. So, be pleased - and welcome to the wonderful world of motorcycling.

Expensive, it can be.

Embarrassing too!

I dropped my BSA several times in my first year of riding. I don't mind admitting that but I am not going to tell you how many times - that's one admission too many! :D
