. Is my 1960 HD Servicar (Police trike) a cruiser?
===================================
Hell no Slim, a HD Servicar is a Servicar and always will be, your lucky to own one :wink: , it's kind of the BUG of the HD line, some may call it a trike but they will will soon be corrected. :shock:
=======================================
My 61 BMW was called a sport bike when it was built, but doesnt even come close by today's definition. (it is more like a standard with some performance upgrades from the factory)
=========================================
Well your right of course but I sure wouldn't be afraid to call it a Sport Touring bike because in it's day that's just what it was compared to what the other bikes offered, it was still true in 74 when I had my R90/6. :wink:

not enough options......I ride an '85 V45 Sabre, it was considered to be a sport standard in its day....now I guess it could be classified as a sport tourer or a standard

wow - everyone is so complicated.

I own a 207 Ninja 250 and I'm hoping to own a Honda Interceptor. Both sport bikes - so I'm pretty simple - for a change.

I'm 57 and have two sportsbikes. I'd love a streetfighter but it's not practical as I have no car and ride 365 days a year in all weathers.

One thing I would never want is a cruiser. Why? Overweight; overadorned; lumbering; ugly (so, so ugly); ridiculous riding position; slow; and, of course, ugly.

Just telling it like it is

:D

Don't hold back, just tell us how you really feel. :)

I was told that when I indicated one of my sister-in-laws was the biggest "dog" in the universe to a co-worker. :laughing:

You don't have enough options.

My bike is more a standard than either a cruiser or a sportbike. But it is definitely closer to a sportbike than a cruiser.
