Some background about me:
Ever since I can remember I've always loved two wheels above everything else. When I was younger I rode BMX, Mini Bikes, Road Bikes (i raced cat 4 when I was a teen), mountain bikes, and then finally onto motorcycles.

Kev and I went on another ride into Marin Hwy One. We also checked out Lucas Vally Road. Last time I visited Lucas Vally Road it was being repaved. No, we didn't visit George Lucas but going through some of the forests did feel like I was on a speeder bike. We also stopped in Sausalito and relaxed and waited for the car pool/Motorcycle hour to start so we could get through the Golden Gate Bridge for free.

The riding weather is the best thing about living in Norcal. Every year it seems as if our riding weather becomes extended. I guess we have global warming to thank for that.

Emergency Braking

Here I have Reg practicing emergency braking on her little ninja. The little ninja that could. I believe emergency braking is so important. You'd be surprised at how much stopping distance it takes when you are going 80kmh and above.

Emergency Braking. You can see her motorcycle starting to bottom out the forks.

My co-worker just picked up a new/used 'Beemer' He's a happy camper now.

This is Oni my cat. He's the only one in the family who doesn't like motorcycles that much. Actually, he's got quite a following on youtube. You can find him there if you punch up oni the cat on the search engine.

lol my wife wont let me get the teenage mutant ninja turtle movie.
My mother just bought one of those smart car. Her john deer lawn mower is bigger than that car. Plus they really dont get that great of gas mileage considering the size. 30mpg is all though I have seen people put gixxer 1000 engines in them which is double the hp of the origional engine lol.

Yep its a teenage mutant ninja turtle.

Why wont she let you get the video?

Only 30mpg for the SMART car. That's weak for a car that size. I guess its not that fuel efficient as I thought. Yeah, I've seen the gixxer driven smart cars on youtube.

This happened about a year and a half ago.
Location: Oh hwy 1 Going north bound inbetween the cities of Point Reyes & Bivalve. Next small town North would be Millerton then Next major town North would be Marshall. Right at the Southern most tip of Tomales Bay.

Before Pictures...
Two Lane Hwy one.
one lane going North and one heading South. Double Yellow lines were the only divider between lanes. There were two motorcycles and one car involved in the accident.
My friend and I were just cresting a hill heading Northbound on hwy 1 @ around 55 mph when I saw a car acting erratically. I slowed down to about 30 to 40mph as I was coming up behind the car. The car suddenly hit the brakes & made an illegal a u-turn on a double yellow and to make matters worse didn't even bother to signal. So basically as I was sideswiped while trying to do an emergency stop. I actually had the back tire in the air in a full stoppie when the car sideswiped me.

After picture
I was thrown about 20 feet doing a complete flip and landed on my backside and then slid for another distance in the gravel by the side of the road. My buddy hit the right rear of the car and flew even further than I did and landed on the road and slid. My motorcycle went end over end and ended up leaning on the car.
My buddies motorcycle looked like the front end exploded.
Both my buddy and I had no injuries and we walked away from the crash
because we were wearing AGATT. Other than our helmets, I was wearing a Dainese leather jacket with armor plus my knee/shin guards and riding boots. My buddy was wearing an Icon jacket with knee/shin guards plus padded hip and leg protection. This was the same kind of accident that Andrew Trevitt - Senior Editor of Sport Rider Magazine got into. Unfortunately his was a lot more worse than mine.

wow that sucks. Glad you were ok and that you didnt hit them going "to fast".
As for the movie part its because she doesnt like it even though my boys and I love it. My mom didnt get a smart car for the fuel efficiency. Only got it to drive back and forth to town n stuff. It DOES get better mileage than her old SUV used to get though at 30mpg city (35 hwy) its not horrible. but even so you can get a new grand prix that gets 30mpg lol.
is it me or is that car you guys hit a hybrid? Must have been a female driver who happens to be a tree hugger.....

OMG ! you hit it dead on. The only thing you missed was that she was a lesbian with her partner in the car.

not that there's anything wrong with being a lesbian.
