Installed the Comp Werkes fender eliminator kit today
This kit really cleaned up the back of the bike. Just have to pull the side cover and splice the wires. Still waiting for my LOR exhaust to show up. Also need to use the hair dryer on those dealer stickers while doing the heat shrinks.

Looks like a comp werks fender kit. Really cleans up yer tail. Looks good!

So im pretty much a newbie... but I bought my first bike last year and I got a 2009 Ninja 250. I haven't done any mod to it yet, but I just bought a carbon fiber 2 brothers exhaust (CANT WAIT to put it on and get rid of that huge, ugly, aluminum thing). Hopefully it's not too hard..Ill be doing it myself. But, I diy-d a fender eliminator last year (not the greatest thing i've ever seen) but I want to buy a real kit this year before the season starts. Everything Ive looked at doesn't really explain how it works. Can someone help me? Im totally feeling clueless. I just dont see how it would work... the whole piece is connected on my stock fender and if the eliminator kit only comes with the bracket, where is the extra plastic coming from? I know I sound hopeless...

Nope, I just checked my sister's Ninja 250 sitting out in the garage. The plastic piece that holds the license plate and turn signals is just a bracket that is put onto the bike. If you look up and under the big ole wind-sail they call a fender, there are a couple of bolts, unscrew those and unplug the wires and you should be golden! You might have to take off all of the rear plastics to do it properly, but you shouldn't have to cut anything at all to get a fender eliminator on there.
