To me, they all look great going down the road. Each has its own character. After working on Chris's Hurricane for the last couple of months, both mechanically and cosmetically, I have to say it really looks like they already had their act together in 1987. I can only imagine how great they are now! Even though his bike is 18 years old, it's just sweet to work on...just very well designed. So, for lack of experience (admitting my ignorance

) I vote Honda until I learn otherwise on my own.

That's a good question, but they all offer something different.
Suzuki GSX-Rs have a fair bit of low end torque for in-line fours and the K5 1000 is supposed to be no exception. I haven't ridden one, but I've sat on one and it's so small and light for a 1000. A friend has a K4 750 and it's nice to ride.
I haven't ridden a v-twin yet.
My 04 R1 is awesome though, the styling, power and handling are incredible. It's easier to ride than my 2001 ZX-6R. It has the least torque of the R1s to date, I think the 02/03 produces the most and smoothest torque curve, but my 04 feels plenty quick enough. With 100mph in first gear, what more do you need? (600s are really more than enough.)

MJ, I'd kill to get my hands on your R1, much less an MV F4.
If I woke up and an MV F4 was in my driveway, I think I'd sh*t my pants, change underwear, go back to bed and wake up again, just to be sure.

My green team bias made my push Kawasaki, but I do really like the Yamaha R bikes. And I sure can't come up with one bad thing to say about the RC-51 and 211. BMW is making one heck of a cool bike now with the 1200S. I guess I voted, but I just don't know. I didn't even start talking about the Gixxer.
