Check your local sign shop too there's alot of these vinyl graphics and wrap type stores out there. I get my reflective stuff from our county sign shop they through away alot of good scraps. Check your local road and bridge department our guys ride so they dig it. Its also dot approved so make sure u know where its going cause it doesn't come off to easy. Slip a county worker a few bucks they'll hook ya up

Thanks everyone! I bought some white and red reflective tape. I'll probably use the white on the helmet and white and red on parts of my bike. The red isn't as reflective as the white, but I think it'll be good to have a big of color variety. (and red usually indicates *stop*)

Wasn't on a motorcycle, but last night saw a jogger with reflective tape all over her suit - pitch dark, but I saw her getting ready to cross a side street where I was going to make a left turn.
Without the tape, I wouldn't have seen her until ... I hope! ... just before I made the turn, under the streetlight.
Based on this experience, I'm thinking about adding some reflective tape on my helmet / jacket.

i like the SOLAS tape - it is what I used for additional taping on my helmet, jacket and tail bag.
I forget where I got my retroreflective rim stripes. I haven't put them on my new bike yet.

I got kinda bored yesterday and picked up three yards of SOLAS tape at the local Boater's World (which is unfortunately going out of business). It was only $6/yd. It is awesomely bright and adheres very well. I used it on my helmet, handguards, and top case. In a bit I'll take some pics with a flash so you can see how bright it is.
I commute in the dark, and frequently in nasty weather, so I probably used a touch more than other people might.

That looks great. I'm kinda surprised how dim the stickers are when not in direct light.
I must have missed something - when did everyone get the TMW stickers?

I got mine awhile back when I bought a TMW t-shirt. I don't know if Mike still has any.
