Once again, Congrats and enjoy the ride.
Thanks, follow. Re: size, that was my idea. Knowing I might be biting off more than I could chew, I wanted to go no bigger than an 88ci. Somehow, in my mind, it seemed more manageable considering it's a 600 lb. bike.

Again, the hard part has really been slow maneuvers, but I'm working on it. I got the Ride Like a Pro DVD the other night, and have already run some of the exercises. I still need work on it, but it's been a BIG help.

Well what would really help, is if it weren't your bike and you didn't pay for it (haha I'm sure I wll get a lot of lip for that one), but what you can do is go down to the hardware store and get some pipe cover and cover up your crash bar and what ever else, if you drop it you may not scratch it and you won't feel so bad. My LEO's taught me that trick, that is what they do when they learn to do the "ride like a pro stuff" also on that website go to stuff for sale and you can get the covers there..they are cool.

When I had the BMW RT , I had the same feeling and never out grew them. I was happy to sell the bike and said I was going to give up riding. I thought it was me. But then the riding bug got me again. I st on alot of bike and did my home work . I found the one that was for me. The fear I had with the BMW is gone with this one, I am still getting to know my Buell and the wonderful things it can do.
