Can't wait to get through my workday so I can take it out tonight. It's gonna be long day!
It's a 2005 Virago 250 with 1500 miles - a perfect started bike. It's already got it first scratch or two, but very minor. It's still a great looking and great running bike. I won't have to worry about putting that first bandaid on it.
I'll post pictures in a day or two.
Totally awesome for you....Wooooohoooooo!!!!!!

Congratulations,
Oh what a feeling.
Enjoy your ride and don't forget that smile.
You'll be picking bugs out of your teeth, but it will be worth it, hahaha.

I have already added a fork bag so I can carry a few incidentals, like my registration, water bottle, etc.
I've also ordered a National Cycle Sportshield to keep the wind off. Can't wait until that arrives!
We rode last Sunday, nearly all day. Backroads, highway, twisties, all of it. I like the twisties! I think they are fun. Of course, we are cautious, unlike a 22 yo male who wrecked on the same road the same day. He was going too fast for conditions and went right off the road on a curve. He's gonna live, but he totaled his bike. We were on Highway 112 from Port Angeles west out to the coast of Washington. Some of the curves are 15mph - it's definitely a place for paying attention.
Found out how far I can go on a tank of gas before I have to put it on reserve. I used my trip odometer to find that out. I can go about 145 miles until I need reserve. I get 78 miles to the gallon. Good stuff to know.

I got my windshield today. Put it on after work, and went for a trial run. Found I needed to adjust it up some, so made that adjustment when we got back. I think I'll take her to work tomorrow, so I can play on my lunch hour, and we'll ride for date night after work. I know I'm going to love it! Looks nice too.

I just got my first bike last week - 2006 Suzuky Boulevard. Went for my first ride on the road with my husband on Friday after work....wow lots of fun but I feel the need to get more comfortable on the road - I've been practicing for a few months in parking lots with my husbands bike. Took another ride on Saturday and felt a little better. Just got to keep practicing to get better and more comfortable I guess. I take my road test in July....practicing the drills almost daily.

I recently bought a 95 Nighthawk 250 with only 5500 miles on it for just $1000. I'm having a lot of fun riding and enjoying the open road
