I'll have to agree with you on this one, personal experience with a friends tire...

I bought a CO2 kit that is also a hand pump, not a whole lot better but it works...

It has gotten good reviews over on the Versys forum, whereas Slime has not. I've purchased some, but since I think I'll be getting new tires before the trip to Colorado, I'm waiting to put it in that set.
I've never used the stuff myself but rode with a guy last weekend who absolutely swears by it, just fill your tire with it and forget about it. I'm very tempted to give it a try but would love to hear from anyone else who's ever used it.

I barely have room for a change of shorts on most of my trips, how do you people manage to carry a whole re-build kit in your top-box? A cell phone, VISA card and AAA is about all I pack with me.

Duct tape and hard as steel putty

Oh and I usually take a pillion, great things them, they can go for help, wave down trafffic, stop traffic, dependant on how good looking she is, change tyres, hold up bike for puncture repairs.

1001 uses really. Never leave home without one.

So, do you still have that gorgeous pillion that you flaunted on here a few years ago??? "The Goose" if I'm correct, and does she still ride the VFR???
Does your daughter have her own bike?

Some men are just so lucky...

You jest, this July I celebrate my 30Th anniversary with The Goose (we married young OK )

The VFR is a pleasure and The Goose and The kid fight over it. The Goose also rides the GS and sometimes I end up on the scooter, where's the lucky in that.

Thanks for asking though all good this side, apart from the worldwide global recession of course
