Local dealer has a Cross Bones available for demo rides... I think I know what I'll be doing this Friday.

Ride the Nightster and the Dyna Low Rider. The Low Rider isn't going to jerk you off the seat but it is one sweet ride. That 1200cc in the Nightster is a torque machine. Sure it won't match your fz6 but it's pretty powerful in the low end.

Sidenote: if you are tall the 1200N gets a bit cramped after a while.

Want: HD 1200 Custom or 1200N, Dyna Low Rider or Victory Vegas 8-Ball. And the list keeps growing.

For the money (not that either one of us are buying) the v-rod looks like more bike for the dollar.

Of course, getting hypnotized by getting the most bike for your dollar could have its downsides.

I do have a bit of me that wants a full-dress tourer... Ultra Classic Electra Glide would meet that.

Of course the big down side to the mega tourers is that the mpg really isn't all that great.

Sometimes it's just not about value. Sometimes it's about what makes the heart beat faster.

Tried sitting on a V-Rod. Didn't think my 30-inch inseam would've cut it. I'd sign up for the Sportster 1200 Nightster, and hope a surprise XR1200 would be available coz HD wanted to "test consumer reaction".

i want to take a fat bob for a ride, but that's only because of all the harley's i've seen, that's the only one i'd shell out harley dollars for.

that bike's so sexy. i find out thursday if i get promoted this year and if i do get promoted i'll be making another $400 more per month in just my base salary (doesn't include my housing allowance). if i get promoted my gift to myself will be a new fat bob. sometimes being single has it's perks.

Currently waiting on a new hip before I can get a new bike.

I rented one of those last Christmas and put 320 miles on it in a couple of days. I liked the torque but found that it beat me to death. Very tiring to ride.

I had a Night-Rod out for a ride once and it is easily one of the coolest bikes that I have ever ridden.....and I am not a cruiser guy! I was out riding with a guy this past weekend who has a new V-Rod muscle and I must say that magazine pics do not do this bike justice. If I could justify the $25K I would be looking at one right now!
