Hmmm, not sure if I'll pick color/visibility vs DOT only for my next helmet. Scorpio 700 has a helmet that matches my jacket I think.

I do want something that fits my cheecks better than my HJC CL-15

How a helmet fits the head it is meant to protect is the #1 most important criteria. Everything else is secondary.

That's why I cringe when I read that someone just got their new lid online and start talking about how great it feels.

A helmet is one thing you really should buy from a bricks-n-mortar store... after trying every one they have in stock.... after you have done the same thing at every other shop in town.

And that is my dime's worth for the month.......

If you're concerned about levels of protection, there's a UK helmet rating program called SHARP (http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/). The ECE certification is a minimum standard that all helmets have to pass to be legally sold in Europe, but SHARP rates helmets on a comparative scale of 1-5. And, like Motorcyclist magazine found out, more expensive doesn't necessarily mean more protective.

Important caveat; helmet models sold in Europe and the US might have manufacturing variances (ie, slightly harder to meet a SNELL rating, for instance).

Any time your helmet take a good hit, replace it. I drop mine from four feet use it to get home , but the next day went out and got a new one. It is you head.
