I can vaguely understand why someone doesn't want to be more hi viz because it looks dorky, involves spending, is a hassle, whatever.
I find it bizarre how people will spend time, money, and energy to change their indicators so they're less visible.

My pal bought a used bike that has these and they suck "O Ring". He's hunting around now to see if anyone is selling the stock ones so he can change them out. I don't get the appeal at all.

this was still a proper right turn signal.

Or a six ft. tall Santa doll. Saw that a few weeks ago on a ride. One of the riders nailed him and it got stock to his highway bars.
