this is def a widow maker....I let my friend ride it once, a real good friend. he took off slowly and gave it back after 1 run thru the power band.
"OMG that is one dirty B$#@$" was all he said.

I, on the other hand, didn't realize a funny thing about the tach. Long before he rode it, tho.. That is the only gauge, and in all my experiences, a BRIGHT orange slash, at a given RPM, meant back off.....redline, right? So I rode this thing at least 20 times, thinking, well...it's fast and all....but damn, redline at 7500??!!? Isn't quite what I thought the "widowmaker" would do...Hell, I had a 2 valve Duc that had more pull, really. Heavily modded, but anywho....

Well, in Kawa Triple world, I guess that orange line means HOLD THE %^$ ON!!!! Whoa...was I wrong...this one goes to 11..and beyond...it stopped flying at about 12kRPM......Holy cow..... I was only going 2/3 power??!?! It really was toooo much....The top end blew a few months later so I put the 800cc Big bore kit in....well, now it's just aaaaawful.

In the best sense of the word!!!
