I believe I am much nicer.

Well, it's made planning outings tougher. None of my friends ride, though most of them wish they did. So I always kinda seem like I'm making things difficult, because if we go on a long trip, I'd rather take my bike.

I've definitely noticed I like the solitude and quiet (not literally quiet, but a lack of lots of stimulation like tv, music, talking, etc...) of riding. I never would have imagined I could do nothing but watch scenery fly by for hours on end before I started riding. If anything, riding has made me more introverted, especially since I almost never ride with other people. It's become my sanctuary instead of some sort of social thing.
I've also noticed when I get depressed or frustrated, a quick trip through the night time country side fixes things up.

With me, it's become less of a psychological sanctuary as I've gotten more experienced. I have been and am still in the middle of a long running problem at work with a psychotic now former employee. When I first started riding about 14 months ago, it took so much concentration to keep from becoming road smear that I couldn't stew over the work situation while on the bike. Now--with 20K miles under my belt--I unfortunately can ride and stew at the same time.

Well in that case, I'm gonna work harder at getting worse at riding and always stay a beginner. Thanks for the protip

Ok so it is true we do wish. But I'm working on it so cut me some slack I know a few others as well although I think they are more afraid of their wives then the motorcycle though. They get that look which is quite similar to the one I got when I showed the wife the bike I was looking at only had a solo seat

Not to mention the fact that their attempt that humor or wit was TOTALLY off the mark, they have a guy on a $28k motorcycle roll up, trying to kick start a bike that miraculously dies because of the rain (on a bike, which, btw, DOESN'T have a kick start...).

Gah! Can't stand McD's... Their food is bad enough, and now they put something out like this? Does nothing to improve their image, plus going so far as to make bikers look like jerks.
