If you can take the fuel lines loose, and the drain screws off the bottom of the carbs: you can take a spray can of carb cleaner and hose into the carbs through the fuel opening and let it run down and out. You can then put the drain screws in and fill the carbs with cleaner and let them sit to dissolve the varnish. Flush clear and it might just run fine.shadowchaser wrote:Oh, I forgot to mention...I'm not much of a mechanic so whatever I do I will have to have done at a repair shop. You could also try running Seafoam additive in the fuel for a while and see if it cleans up.
