Do you ride throughout the year? If so, you'll get caught in the snow sooner or later. Scary for me to ride in, but it's doable.csspostal wrote:Me thinks it'll be a few years of riding under my belt before I get that brave.Gummiente wrote:You wuss.RhadamYgg wrote:Some guys keep their bikes out all the time... It isn't WHAT you ride,
It's THAT you ride

No I just passed the safety course end of July this year. I decided to wait until spring to buy my first bike hoping to find a good deal on a used one over the winter. I should have enough saved to be looking in the 5 or 6 k range by then. So I won't have any payments.Do you ride throughout the year? If so, you'll get caught in the snow sooner or later. Although everyday on the way to school I pass by two dealerships and makes me think twice on the way there and way back whether I should have just bought now

Speaking of which

And here I thought 'Crazy B*stard' WAS your name!!

There's a guy around here who has a bike with a sidecar that he rides in the middle of winter. Quite the site to see when its -40F and you hear a rumble pull up next to you and see a fellow biker braving the cold, snow and ice. Not my cup of tea though, in the winter I like four wheels...that all move...
