Thing is, if they can gather that much data from a skid mark (and they can...my dad did it for ~10 years) why didn't they just get the data from the other guy' skid marks rather than ask a volunteer doofus to make some new ones? In addition, they're assuming the guy went down during braking...which is presumptuous...how do they know he didn't skid while powering out of a turn?

That little test of theirs was so useless. The guy was going maybe 30 in second gear. It almost looks like he intentionally grabbed his brake to fall. And the announcer... "it just shows how easy it is to crash on one of these bikes" - well ya, if you're not riding it well. Tax money hard at work, folks.
