I think he was supposed to ride a Triumph as all cool guys in the 50s rode Triumphs.fireguzzi wrote:lol Don't do it Fonzi!csspostal wrote:Speaking of Jumping the shark I miss Happy Days
what kind of bike did he ride anyway?
Yeah the tv guys are not very consistent. I was watching the movie Then Came Bronson, and noticed that he was supposed to be riding an old sportster but on a beach scene where he was doing donuts in the sand and stuff he was riding a japanese dirt bike. It had nobbies and everything. Then, like magic, he was back on the sporty foar the rest of the movie.HYPERR wrote:I think he was supposed to ride a Triumph as all cool guys in the 50s rode Triumphs.fireguzzi wrote:lol Don't do it Fonzi!csspostal wrote:Speaking of Jumping the shark I miss Happy Days

Yeah they switch bikes when the original bike is not capable of doing certain stunts. Like in the movie Great Escape. The scene where McQueen is escaping from the German concentration camp, the jump is done on a Triumph TR6 poorly disguised as a WWII era BMW. No way a WWII Boxer would have made that jump. It's actually amazing that Bud Ekins even made that jump successfully in a 1960s Triumph.fireguzzi wrote:Yeah the tv guys are not very consistent.
