Bikes from American companys hold their value very well, but are "less than stellar" when it comes to quality.

Damn if I can explain it...
You can't really lump all the oriental sportbikes in one category. The Japanese bikes hold their values much better than the South Korean ones. The Chinese bikes... well, they completely disintegrate within a year so you don't have to worry about resale value.

As for American, the only sportbike company was Buell, and they certainly did not hold their value too well.

Well yeah but statistically the sample size is too microscopic to get any valid data on resale value.

My Shiver lost like 30% of it's value. Dealers wanted to give me $3k for it and the bike was only 1 year old. I sold it to someone for like $3000 off MSRP.

Unfortunately, no, but I'm willing to work at and one day put it up on youtube... Or maybe I'll make my older son do it. :)
