I ain't sayin' nothin'...

When my gf and I were on Waikiki Beach, a kid on a 50cc scooter rode down the street doing a 45 degree wheelie! That's all technique and balance as the scooter obviously does not have the power to sustain such a wheelie. That's some mad skilz!

Took a few brief rides on little 50-90cc scooters before I started riding motorcycles. Its not the same. The riding position and the way they handle is just "off" to what im used to.

I have owned two different scooters. Both Honda Ruckus a 50cc and a 250cc Big Ruckus. Loved them both...would of loved to keep em...but a guy can only ride one two wheeled machine at a time. I think they are a great way to get around. I used the 250cc for two years commuting to work...8k miles. They area a lot of fun. Great topic...

I have an 850 bike, a 1200 bike and a 250 scooter. Got to rate the scooter as being the easiest and safest to ride in traffic, nuff said.

I rode a scooter before I ever rode a bike, and I think it is a great way to learn the basic skills

I took a ride on a friends Suzuki Burgman 650 and I was hooked! I wanted one! Only one Suzuki dealer in my area had new Burgmans on stock and he was impossible to deal with wanting full msrp price plus $400 prep charge where I offered $500 off the msrp price and he threw me out!
So I was stuck buying the Yamaha Tmax and I love it
