Me 2, glad you are OK.
I hope that woman is properly traumatized into paying some gosh attention to her driving!
I would have spent that ride to the Emergency Room berating her about almost killing someone because she was too self-absorbed to drive. By the time we got there, her and her kid would have been bawling and seeking therapy.

Don't they do that anyway when you merely ride by them Buzzz?

Glad you're ok.
Those mommies in mini vans are brutal.
Best wishes on the PhD.

wow, man, I'm glad you are relatively unharmed. I hope the woman is traumatized enough that she actually tells her friends and family about almost killing someone and they get the idea that driving isn't fun an games.
One of the times I was following my wife to one of the dealers I almost saw her buy it. It was of course, because of the kids. If they are strapped in, tell them to "fudge" off and concentrate on driving.

I just had to put that in there.

Glad it turned out as well as it did, of course if you weren't paying attention it likely wouldn't have.

You should have called the police before going anywhere, you will have to take her to court over this to get an insurance payout (your health insurance carrier if you have insurance will practically require it as they will subrogate her for their costs). Her getting nice fat tickets for using cell while driving/careless driving and/or reckless driving would have resulted in her being "at fault" and made your case against her insurance.
Since there was no police on scene and no citations issued to her she can deny everything to her insurance and you get nothing.

Sho, glad to hear you are OK, that's the main thing.
I would have faked a coronary in the car and told her that she was now financially responsible for my 3 wife's and 16 kids.
Good point about the insurance I would still lodge a police report even now after the fact.

Also file a claim against her insurance ASAP for all of your medical expenses from this.
