Hi All,

Thanks for the additional tips: removing the brake lever and using the cardboard between the two brake pads. This was great because it took about two weeks for me to finally put everything back together. I'm now breaking in the new tire and getting use to its handling. :)

IRC is the brand, low end model and not expensive at all even with install and new tube and valve. I like it that the profile is a bit wider than the original tire and it travels over bridge grates better, i.e. less wobbly, if that makes sense.

But I have noticed that I need to be vigilant about checking the tire pressure each morning. I'm commuting to work again and it's down a pound the by the next day. Because of the rim dents I discovered earlier in the season, I'm thinking I may go ahead and get a new wheel all together.
