I am impressed, I have always liked this bike, it looks great and I know they can handle. Have seen guys at the rally's donut and wheelie and make it look easy. Never ridden one but would like to.

Hate to revive a long dead posting, but I have to add my $.02. The B12 Bandit is probably the best all round bike ever created. They are brutally reliable, tons of mid range usable power, have a great suspension, and can turn 11.00 sec flat quarters while getting 40 street mpg on 87 octane pump gas. If you get one I would recommend a 2000 or up because they have a better clutch design than the older ones. That being said, even with some clutch slippage, they have a brutal mid-range power cure that I never get tired of. You will be hard pressed to find a better all round sport bike, and they can be had for cheap.

Here is my 1998 B12, bought it cheap expecting to only keep it briefly 2 years ago, and still have not found anything I like better. BTW, I think they look better with no windshield fairing.
