Just another 2 cents....

I bought both sets of my Olympia gloves in store. The second set (winter gloves) felt so good that I don't even think I looked at the price I just added them to my service ticket.

Just on the buying in store thing. The feel of the gloves - well, what's good for me might not be good for everyone.

I've had a couple of pairs of M2R gloves and loved the fit. My hands are an XL to XXL depending on the glove, the M2R's are XL. I agree with the notion of browsing at a shop and trying them on before you buy....

I'm a huge fan of Fox Creek ones. Just simple, good leather--no kevlar, carbon, etc. Made in the U.S.

Depending on the shape of your hand. Do you have thick manly hands or long girly fingers?

Regardless of brand, I usually get size L and my Firstgear carbon fiber racing gloves are a perfect fit for my thick hand. My winter gloves are the Tourmaster Grand Touring Elites that I got many many years ago and they are great but the fingers are a little long as they seem to be made for hands with long fingers.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions! I went to many different stores (even ones 1.5 hour highway drive away!) and spent up to 3 hours in each store trying out different gloves... and I bought 2 pairs below. At one point I didn't care how much the glove cost, just as long as it fit!

But I did end up with Joe Rockets:

Unless you are a guitarist, pianist, or a pitcher.

Oh, ummm, hmmm no don't do either of those... I need to travel back in time and become some kind of pianist.

I hate you? Hehe - I can't imagine having that amount of time, or for that matter patience.

He didn't have to take any kids to the store with him, Rhadam. I bet that'd make a huge difference in his browsing duration....
