Hi Pam,

As has already been said, might be worth a quick trip to your doctor *just in case* it is a Carpel Tunnel issue (ive known a few people that have had this - it's easily enough sorted...)

That being said, another thing that might help is is a "Clip-on" cruise control - I cant remember the company that make them, although it might be "bike it" or something..? it's a device that clips onto the throttle grip, meaning you dont have to squeeze it, and can control it more with your palm. A mate of mine uses it on his fj1200 and says it's awesome!
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

Yup, that'd be the one! Got to admit, never tried it myself - but heard good things about 'em... definately worth Pam considering if it is gripping the hrottle that's causing the problem...

Throttle rocker and a throttle lock are two totally different animals. One gives you control of the throttle with little effort and you don't need to grip the throttle to do so. The other is a great accessory as well, but it's purpose is to give the wrist a complete break by locking the throttle so you could take your right hand off the bars all together. I've got and use them both ...
