Yep. :uk: One thing about Velocette is that contrary to popular beliefs, it is British, not Italian. They were actually built in Birmingham just like BSA(Birmingham Small Arms). Unlike the giant BSA, Velocette was very small. Making high quality handmade bikes. They of course made the fishtail muffler famous.

My friend Dave, who you've met, his father had a Velocette when he was a youngster back in England. :uk: :kicking:

Its a nice bike. I didnt know his dad rode. He should too!!!

Although the pic is very old (those cars) many streets look similar to this in Chelsea and South Ken, nothing has changed.
In fact it looks like very like the street my brother lives.

He never rode, he was always into cars. The funny thing is, despite never really riding, he was somehow capable of piloting a motorcycle. He once took an old RD 2stroke that I had around the block.

His uncle(mother's brother) used to have a Triumph.

Now if the message is bikes like that get girls like her then to hell with the Ninja, I'm gonna get me whatever the hell that is... could it be a Norton?
hmmmm, if as we think that picture was taken in the early 60's and the girl is probably in her early 20's at the time, then today, she would be 70ish and quiet possible old enough to be one of our Grannies.....

Doesn't time and reality suck?????
Always ask why.

Not the 60's. Blurry modern cars in the back ground are a dead giveaway. As if the modern "Im starving to death" look of the model wasnt enough of a clue.

Twiggy was a 60's model. But yeah, she does have a modern hair do.
