I'm going to keep an eye out for a 650 which would be more for me, I think(?). The VStrom is claimed to be a fairly good tourer but thought my Vulcan would be better for that. I have not had a rider on a long ride yet so really don't know the best bike for me for that type of riding. I love riding my 800 but also want a different style that is fun around town and on short trips. The FZ6, which I have not ridden, would be fun but it's really hard to deny a better all-around bike is the VStrom. Riding one would probably help me decide. Kawasaki is going to be at New Lexington next weekend with all their bikes for test rides. I will just have to find one that Suzuki runs. I have also thought about putting a radio or player on my bike somehow. The VStrom would be great for doing that. Fun to look for bikes, someday I will have to stop doing it!

Yeah, the FZ6 is undeniably fun, but horrible for two-up. And the engine has to be wound up pretty fast to put out its rated power, which sucks for an around-town bike.

Which dealership(s) have you been to? I bought my Meanie at ASK Powersports off of Brice Road. There's another in Lancaster (not sure which is closer to you). They have a great inventory of bikes so you can sit on several makes/models in one visit.
