if we could just ever get people to tell us what kind of bike they are working on some of us have wiring harnesses laying around that we dont need and a lot of other stuff.i get tired of trying to find out what in the hell somebody is working on.

since it looks like it's just that one wire that has been shorting I'm going to try to just cut that wire and connect it outside of the connector.
I'll let ya know how it goes.

It didn't work, the whole connector must be shot.
