Sev and Zoo...obviously you get on each-other's nerves. I was enjoying reading about the ride until the childish banter started. Give us a break, will ya? Let's not allow this forum to become what many others have degraded to!

Sevulturus wrote:I wasn't quite as nervous as you think I was. But I did know that you guys can stop and start a lot faster then I can. So of course I kep t my distance. By the end of the day I was practically dumping the clutch at every shift just to keep up with you guys. And emergency braking to a stop. And when I "bailed"

I made it home with enough time to eat a sandwich and get to work. I did make a point of letting you know I was heading home at the stop light. You pretended you didn't know me

I really wish you'd come up next weekend. The one I have off.
Thanks for letting me ride with you though, I'll work on my acceleration and braking.
Glad to hear it, Dude. But your bike can stop alot quicker than the tank I'm riding

. And it's no sportbike, it's an old man's bike.

Not that it really matters, it gets the job done.
And I appologize for getting you up, I really was operating under the impression that either sat or sun was good for you. My mistake.... your headache.... next weekend, it's me what's workin'.
Next time, we turn it up a notch or two.... maybe a run out in the country? Give the bikes a chance to stretch thier legs, do a little scraping, grab a burger and do it all over again. Your little hot-rod should work well for that..... careful though, Corby really likes your bike, he might nab it on you.

And I'll second Toyuzu's statement about the bickering. You guys sound like you've been married for 30 years. Agree to disagree and move on, already. That's one of the nice things about Western society, we don't all have to have the same opinion about everything. And we can do it without fighting.... can't we?

Hey, sev, I don't care what anybody else has to say. I enjoyed your story.
Your blog is good, too.
