Wow... You guys are all great on here. I thank you all so much for your replies. Well I sold my little rebel yesterday and tomorrow I am picking up my Yamaha 650... Still a bit nervous, so by bf is gonna take it home for me, i think my first time on it should be in a great big parking lot ... lol lol

Hi and welcome!

I love the Rebel 250 as a starter bike - it's the one I learned on in my MSF course and I really loved it right from day 1. I really wanted to ride the Ninja 250 and GS500 at the course but ended up stuck on the little Rebel because it just felt right. Good choice!

The 650 was my first bike. It only feels heavy for the first few weeks until you find your balance.
