oh. i might wanna buy a used bookstore with another chunk... say $200k would easily get that on the go. than i could kick around there a bit... another good investment too

An idea for one of those 8-million or so left kicking around is to refurb and build new parks for kids... and i say this at the moment because right now here it's a bit wild. My there's three crazy little running around the house tonight. it's all crazy kids fun. they are little monkeys... having a good time painting and discovering the art of *squealing* in the back yard, the house, well, everywhere. they're inquisitive little characters indeed... and fun...

10 mil eh? First things first throw a party and invite certain guests (close friends, family) to share some of the windfall. (w/o too much thought 10 000 per friend more for family) Then buy some cool toys, eliminate all other debt (motgage, credit cards etc) some investing would then be done to allow certain funds to be set up (kids university) then sit back, relax and take up whichever hobby happened to grab my attention at the time.

i spend a nice chunk of money on alot of land... i mean Alot some where remote. and stick a nice size house on it, drop the rest in the bank let it build up a bit and just relax and enjoy it all. maybe get a sail boat and do the world tour thing. once enough cash has built up to sustain me the rest would go out to help other people(dont think id do the big name charities though).

Edit: Thought I'd posted this in General. Oops. Anyhoo, post away until the mods can move it for me.

-I'd invest a nice bit of it in rental property (mmm profit).
-I'd buy a motorcycle.
-I'd build a house.
-I'd get the skills to build custom guitars and open a luthiery.

-Pay off family debts.
-Give my mom enough so that she can do somethign she enjoys in life.

I'd have to burn the first million on random things, without acquiring any assets in the process (brewsters millions style)

Also I'd love to tour the world by bike (Al / CentralOzzy, what kind of tours round Austrailia do you do for $10000)

The rest would go into investments, and wiping out mortgages of close friends and family, so they can enjoy their own hard earnt cash. Sometimes it's nice to not be given everything, but to have the freedom of a comfortable life free of money worries.

Prehaps I might even build that dream car - £15000-£20000 on a nice Dax Rush kit, and Chevvy engine (4wd version, 500Kg, too many BHP)

Oh, and finally I'd want a great big water cannon, I could shoot you americans with from this side of the pond Oh right.... there's a hose pipe ban on..... Damn

1. foget buying land...id buy an island.
2. a black lightning mint condition.
3. the detroit brothers...they can be my live in mechanics
4. one of those sweet motorboats in indiana jones last crusade
5. id buy a scientist to grow the sickiest herbals on my island.
6. id buy crazy animals to live on my island...and then make them into human gene experiments
7. and some sort of amphibious assualt vehicle.
8. lots of guns
9. some mexicans to use the guns.
10. a nice leer jet...to fly my family in.
11. set up an 800 # so noone has to pay to call me.
12. all the books i could get my hands on...
13. a digging machine so i could go to china if i wanted to.
14. a ride in the space shuttle.
15. a fleet of old jeeps to run around the island.
17. a crown...because i would be king.

You're gonna need 100 million - I don't think 10 mil will do. You're gonna spend almost that on just the Learjet... and you still won't have your island yet

ok forget the leer jet...how but just a little cessna....maybe with pontoons instead of landing gear.

Now you're talkin'. You can learn how to fly it yourself and just hop over to your other friend's islands.
