Well studies have shown that gender can make a difference when comes to certain things. A study on multi-tasking, something I hate with a passion has shown that women are better at then men, men generally are better at focused tasks/thinking while woman can juggle multiple mental balls better.
Always ask why.

*cough cough* lol.

I know that some of the mining companies were big on hiring women for running the heavy equipment as they were more carefull and caused less damage to it. That was a few years back though.
