FWIW, Hyperr is right, 2-2 1/2 turns out is supposed to be standard on most carbs.
As far as getting to the fuel mixture screw, go to this link here and go to the last 5 steps on it, that's your fuel/air screw.

ive decide to take carbs into my local yamaha dealer and have them cleaned. but im still concernd that it will still idle up when warmed up im pretty sure the intakes are fine but maybe ill replace them just in case
