I wear full gear at all times. Full face helmet, race boots, race gloves, one peice leathers and a back protector. Doesn't matter how short the journey either.

sometimes I dont wear my gloves

Read my response again, and the key word is "sometimes". It's not like I'm recommending to others, but simply answering the question that was asked.

With getting a sport touring bike I have finally gotten some of the right gear to be riding in. and in saying that it was the addition of a textile jacket, boots, gloves and Carhart's. Full face helemt has always been worn here.
