I have lots of people that surround me at all times while on the road. With the big rides, they are always there. I know that doesn't make it any less of a chance of dropping the bike, however, knowing someone will be there if I fall always makes it "feel" safer for me.
BTW, some call it brave, while others call it stupid. I did however, grow up on dirt bikes and 4-Wheelers, so I have a little bit of knowledge when it comes to riding things that are not cars or trucks. Plus I like to pretend like I am tough. LOL
