Unfortunate about developing alzheimers. That has to be a tough one to work with every day.

Well... it was good of him to stay around so long. "Scotty" made for many fun jokes as a kid -- the dilithium crystals, wapr factor 10, the scotch, the all the "aye aye Captain" stuff and those dire moments of "I'm giving it all she's got! The engines can't take this much longer, Captain!"

It's sad that as a Canadian I didn't even know he was Canadian! I thought he WAS Scottish all along!

It's just like the guy who does the "Lucky Charms" cereal voice isn't Scottish either! LOL.
