every rider prefers different riding glasses. it depends mainly on their needs as a rider. as for me, i am using a UV protected glasses. however, sometimes i am using polarized.

I wear a $20 pair of polarized sunglasses that wrap around close to my head with blade-style arms to fit into my helmet. They are cheap and I won't be very upset if they get munched or anything. The only thing I count on them protecting me from is UV rays, no glasses are really 'protective' for much else to me. That's what goggles or my faceshield are for. I wear contacts and any wind faster than about 30mph or dust and such just don't cut it with glasses. I wouldn't trust my eyes to a pair of glasses at hiway speeds, but then again, I'm pretty fond of seeing. Those sealed-to-the-face half goggle glasses might be a different story, but I'm happy with my set-up as it is now. I was half-blind most of my life, now that I can see well, I ain't risking it.

I like the cheap work safety glasses, yellow on dull days or clear for night ,I tried a few great shatter proof goggles and sunglasses but end up just going with the disposible safety glasses , they can be tilted down to deflect wind and are cheap to replace ,I loose or sit on them all the time.If anything the clear are a great back up to have stashed on the bike somewhere so you wont have to ride home at night when the bugs come out without a pair if you get your cool sunglasses swipped .the yellow I have seems to turn the green lights blue though.

Check out some Wiley-x XL-1's, they are the greatest glasses I have found to keep the wind out of my eye's. But they are too big and useless if you have a full face. Great glasses!!
