Good luck picking a bike, the Ninja 250 and CBR 250 are both great bikes and good luck getting your pilots license. Have fun and be safe out there and up there.

I didn't clue in that you were talking to me...sorry...no, the bike show is in Edmonton, AB...I do need to make a trip to the "Lower Mainland" sometime...not this week though...

Most of my extended family is out there...New West, Burnaby, Surrey, Langley...also on the island...I want to ride my bike out, but I'm not sure wifey is ready for me to go for another multi day ride...not yet anyway...

Didn't get chance to go visit the Kawi dealer this weekend, but going next week/end with my mate. Looks like I'll be doing the DAS course early March though as I have some flying related exams to take and study for before that!

Your 1st post (story?) was very interesting to read! You sound like quite a dynamic guy. I wish you all the best with landing the right job (excuse the pun!) and getting started on your riding career too.

Hoping to do that Direct Access early March, and then buy a bike (and probably get another license for the country I'm in, should my job take me elsewhere) later!
