I voted fail.

Sorry but this is a worse failure than their first Spyder ever made because this one looks like a chesterfield! I mean, who thought BROWN was a good colour choice???

Fail!

Actually sunshine229, sitting on this version is way more comfortable than the basic model. Much like my bike, this one is set up for touring and if for some reason a two wheeler was beyond my abilities, I would seriously consider this bike/trike. It's no different than equiping a Goldwing, Venture, or any other full sized tourer with all the comforts for a 600+ mile day. The technology in that bike is pretty amazing as well. Next bike show, check one out... :o)

I wonder what's the safety record of these things? Consider the lack of a cage combined with far fewer options in terms of "escape routes". Plus I read that almost 30% of Spyder owners have never owned a bike, so I assume a significant percentage of them haven't developed the situational awareness and sense of anticipation that motorcyclists tend to build up.

Of course, 3 large and spread out contact patches plus standard ABS and traction control might even the odds.

The anti tilt technology probably helps as well...

Quite the vote! I am a little surprised that the 2012 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited finished so well vs the base Can-Am Spyder last year. But good for the 2012 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited, maybe 3 wheeled bikes/cars are coming into their own now?

Your Coolness Factor of the 2012 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited is...

Awesome 11%
Cool 47%
Uncool 26%
Fail 16%
