if I llok at that list above, the DL has got it over just about all of them. No massive learning curve but capable of far more than most riders. Easy to add on to for luggage and a bit of customisation, they don't date easily, bloody reliable and cheap to maintain.

Sho, the VFR definately not, great bike but they are monsters in sheeps clothing.
