Skooter didn't offend, just the implication you had to be gay to ride one

Maybe we could find a similarly "immasculating" punchline that's less controversial than sexual orientation? Here are some suggestions...

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Telling your parents you grill with propane instead of charcoal.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Getting your leftover quiche home in the panniers.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Getting your wife/daughter/mother to change the oil.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Finding shoes and a man-bag that won't clash with the color.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Finding a helmet to fit your Pomeranian.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Finding gloves that don't scuff your man-icure.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Finding a supplier for pink windbreakers in size XXXL.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Finding room for your "Meat is Murder" bumper sticker.

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Identifying your scooter from all the rest in the parking lot after the 'I Love Lucy' convention.

And finallly:

Q: What's the hardest part about riding a scooter?
A: Going through life with a name like Marvin.

Frankly, I don't think any of these are quite as funny as the original, but maybe with a less offensive punchline like those above, this particular joke -- or at least the spirit of this joke -- can be enjoyed by a broader range of personalities.

I started out riding on a Honda Reflex. One had to be tough to ride that thing... the jolt from that little 12-inch wheel going over bumps went straight up your spine!

As far as gender affinity, sexual orientation and all that stuff goes..... as a straight male, I got more positive attention from young females with that bike than any other I've had. I'm married, but if I hadn't been..... :naughty:

A: Going through life BEING Marvin.
You are wrong, the above is much funnier to me than the original line. :D

Thanks. That coffee needed to be in my mouth, not on my keyboard.
