Hi guys! My commute today was pretty lame so not much to report. The most interesting thing that happened is that I passed a dude on a bike (didn't see what it was) but he had a Go Pro strapped to his helmet! Looked hilarious! And maybe I'll be famous now and make it on You Tube. One can always hope.

Yesterday I woke up feeling not in the best shape, had a tiny bit of a sore throat, so thought it was best to take the car in case I went downhill throughout the day. Now good news is I didn't go downhill and today I feel alright. But even better news is that at 3:30 it started raining and didn't stop till after bed time! Mike always says I have the luck of the Irish - I NEVER get rained on. But just in case this isn't true, I've brought a rain suit into my office and will keep it there... just in case...

Cheers y'all!

Hey FWIW the GoPro3 is about to come out so the 2 will be dropping significantly in price soon if you want to pick one up. IMO the 2 is all you need as far as video quality, (I mean really, besides professional videographers, who needs to shoot in 1080P???).

It's a lot of money to spend on a camera with such a short fuse... My Go-Pro died an early death

I had the original GoPro and it too died an early death... Lets hope the GoPro 2 HD lasts a whole lot longer...

We still have both our GoProHD's and they are still going fine. I'll have to give one to Andrea so she can shoot her ride in/out and post it. :D

I didn't even know there was a GoPro3 coming, after looking at the specs, I don't see why you would need it really when the GoProHD does everything it well anyways. I was approached about 5 months ago asking to do a BETA test on a new GoPro camera, I bet it was the GoPro3 (in fact, I offered it to High_Side but he was too busy vacationing! haha). I can always ask for a test unit to do a comparo.

Are you talking about the guy that posted here? If so I got that. It was testing out the new mount they're coming out with (definitely worth waiting for versus the current one).

HIJACKED!!! :naughtynaughty:

Yet another uneventful commute. But at least this morning I slept in and then enjoyed an amazing ride in. It was cold and crisp morning at about 60° / 15°, and the sky was clear blue with the sun in just the perfect position to make me smile. It was such an awesome way to start the day.

I'm still loving my bike sooooooo much...

I filled up at the end of the day and I was pleased that a lovely couple who was gassing up next to me came over to check out my ride. They were drooling and asking all kinds of questions. It was so cute, I pulled up and got off the bike and turned around the guy (Italian) was just standing there staring at my bike and when he looked at me he laughed and said "Oh! I thought you were a guy!"

And now, it's weekend time!!!!!!!!!!!

:multistars:
