I don't think it will be a big seller in Europe though.
Hard to say. Big adventure tourers, especially BMW boxer twins, are very popular here, but I seldom see cruiser-style bikes on the roads. The California 1400 looks like it is designed for long highway rides, and we have a lot more winding country roads than superhighways in this part of the world, but experienced riders know that Guzzis have a reputation for good handling.
I think if they sell any here they will probably be equipped with windshields and saddle bags.

I voted Awesome! I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that there is a Guzzi in our garage that is incredibly awesome to ride and I am always a sucker for sexy Italian styling. I love how MG has created a "big cruiser" without going overboard here. And the styling is so unique it just has to land an Awesome vote from me.
I mean... check out the awesome rim tape here...!

Wow, that was a close vote! Moto Guzzi sure has hit the nail on the head with this new bike, let's hope it gets people into the MG sales rooms and discovering the brand for the first time.
...And with our new 2013 voting system EVERY VOTE counts!
Here is how the votes were at the end of the first week:
Your Coolness Factor of the 2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom is...
Awesome: 21 votes x 3 points = 63
Cool: 20 votes x 2 points = 40
Uncool: 5 votes x 1 point = 5
Fail: 0 votes x 0 points = 0
Points awarded: 108
Total votes: 46
(Points) 108 / 46 (votes) = 2.34 / 3 (maximum point score) = .7826 x 100 = 78.3%*
The Coolness Factor = 78.3%
*Add up all the points, divide it by the number of votes, divide it again by the maximum vote point (3), times 100 = %
